Default Add rare minipets to Zaishen Chest drops

The Zaishen chest rewards are due for a change-up.

Add the following minipet possibilities to the rewards...

-Longhair Yeti
-Naga Raincaller
-Oni
-Island Guardian
-Mad King's Guard
-Panda
-Shiro'ken Assassin
-Zhed Shadowhoof
-Kanaxai
-Vizu

Reason
To increase interest in the zaishen chest
To increase access to hard to obtain minipets

thats alright with me, as long as their dropchance is matching their rarity.
But on the other hand, I think kanaxai/oni/island guardians should been a drop from endchests in the deep/urgozz

/signed, as long as chances stay low, and /signed coast's idea too (a more aimed rewamp of depp/urgoz wouldn't be bad in general way).

Maybe, just make them distinguishable from the extra-rare-money worthy ones around atm. Name, color, size, whatever.

/signed for the same reasons mentionned above..

However, an other good move would be to remove flasks ans creme brulee from zaishen chest in my opinion. They're too frequent, worthless, and there are already tons of items in zaishen chest that aren't worth a lot( 99.9% of golds, normal tomes, tonics, etc...)

/signed to make better drops from zchest

/unsigned for the drops you proposed

and here's why:

Most of those minis were given out as rewards for skills and accomplishments, they werent just given out by random chance....so here is what i say

/signed to re-release those minis, in the same way they were originally released: through skills and accomplishments.

Yeah, you are completely right.
Most of them were available via luck-based or other promotional means (hundreds of them given away in a 'gold minipet contest'... soz, not a skill-based thing, nor an accomplishment). Some, like pandas or Kanaxais, were mostly or solely given out to winners of something substantial, but the most of them - not really.

I'm always for making stuff less rare, and in this case it would just go from almost impossble to obtain to rare so...

/signed x2 coasts's suggestion
the deep and urgoz need all the help they can get in getting some life

/unsigned.. I don't think giving out rare mini will greatly increase population to these area if they become too commoned, just like the mini polar bear, or mallyx, and besides the rare ones are not particularly "pretty", eg a Mandragor Imp is 100% better looking than a kanaxai.

further if they are opened, it will decrease and wipe the value off the past successful landmark guildwars tournament history and events, which is unwise.

rather I think the mini and tonics markets are quite saturated, other kinds of reward maybe considered, such as a neon type armour pieces, costume/facial remake token, or etc.

I won't mind if they do.

It's hard to know how many of them are left. Many of the originals were lost due to bans, or will never be seen for inactivity of their accounts, or were dedicated, or even discarded after being dedicated, or it's impossible to know how many of them are left because they slipped without being banned when they were duped, and I strongly believe there should be everlasting sources of items that can disappear for good.

Of course, they should be extremely hard to get, with a drop rate way lower than the Polar Bear, but still possible, to keep their numbers low, but never getting to 0.
It would be better if they were monthly too, so you can only have a chance for one of them once a moth, keeping them even rarer.
Throw in there things like the ceratodon, the destroyer, the giant and the asura, and put the Kanaxai one in the Deep chest and the Isle Guardian in the Urgo chest, to make it 12, and done.

with so many ecto, armbrace, zkey created everyday if that is the issue.

I would rather think innovating another ecto/armbrace/zkey sink is better than milking from the existing sink and crashing the existing market.

/signed for those minis
/signed for factions oines to be from urgoz/deep

my reasons:

- alot of people didnt have a chance to get them, and not talking about newer people
- always better to make more people happy
- the game barely lives, i bet most who actually "won" those, left GW by now, or are just preparing for GW2, and then will leave, most likely
- since the game is way less active (probably mostly inactive soon), making people happy here, will give em more "faith" in anet to get more stuff from the store in GW and get GW2
- z chest is rusty now, some people get pain in their back by now

* what i mean with "faith" is that people who play, would be happy to get some more stuff, and will help the games little by little, by making people buy more from stores (GW2 store too) and GW2 itself, giving Anet more money, making it easier to let em give/make even more *

How about /signed for making a mini uprooted malice from Urgoz chest (A smaller version of the mini IG) and mini aspect of kanaxai from the Deep chest (A smaller Kanaxai).

I would /sign the OP's Zchest idea if the drop rates were built according to rarity that they are right now in game.

Couldn't agree more, many of the rare pets are wanted because of their skins and not just rariety. The rariety is completely ridicilous.

Only problem I could see is zkeys spiking up even more in price.

I wouldn't really mind finding a way for those minipets which have only (or at least primarily) been given out at random to instead be given out for some better tangible reason, but I don't know that dropping them from the Z-Chest is really the way to go. I certainly wouldn't approve of that treatment for those minipets which have come as prizes for specific competitions, such as the Mad King's Guard.

That aside, all of those minipets listed above seem to carry a lot of value due to their rarity. If they become re-released and their value crashes, I am less concerned with the lost assets of those who currently hold those minipets and more concerned with what would even remain as an item that holds superior value that players with lots of money could tunnel their assets into, aside from buying up stacks upon stacks of ectos or armbraces.

Im not sure that putting them all in the zchest would be the best idea, but i 100% support the addition of more of these minis into the game. I probably wouldnt support it if the same number that were given out were still floating around, but considering the lions share of all these minis are gone for good, more collectors deserve a chance at them.

I dont agree with making them any different from the older ones tho. Youd just see "WTS kanaxai v2 xxxxxxx ecto" and "WTS ORIGINAL OLD SCHOOL kanaxai xxxxxxx(times infitiny) ecto".....so theyd still be "different" minis.
